Capilano School: Yoga + Mindfulness for K-Gr 2
Join us for our after-school Series of Yoga + Mindfulness for K - Gr 2!
During these sessions we explore simple tools to support our physical and emotional well-being, through yoga games, crafts and mindfulness practices. Some topics we explore include:
- boundaries + healthy relationships
- understanding how our nervous system and emotional responses work
- goals, visions + our personal strengths
Through our Yoga + Mindfulness classes, we have noticed children are better able to calm themselves, are more focused when need to be, and have a greater sense of confidence and self-awareness. Children are naturally drawn to these simple practices, and it's such a joy to share this knowledge and watch them practice on their own time and be inspired to share with their families!
